BANBURY ANIMAL RESCUE AND KINDNESS SERVICE (B.A.R.K.S.)

Registered Charity no. 1064556 Covering: North Oxfordshire & parts of Bucks, Northants & Warks. Banbury Animal Rescue & Kindness Service is a volunteer run animal rescue & re-homing organisation covering North Oxfordshire & parts of Buckinghamshire, Northamptonshire & Warwickshire. They take in stray & unwanted cats, kittens, rabbits & guinea pigs and find them good, caring, approved homes. The animals are cared for by fosterers until approved homes are found for them. Prospective adopters are subject to a home visit and once approved an appointment to visit the foster homes to view and hopefully adopt one or more of the cats or kittens available, can be arranged. The adoption fees are Â£40 for a cat and Â£35 for a kitten, (a Â£15 non-refundable deposit is required if you wish to reserve a cat or kitten). It costs approximately Â£30,000 per year to run the foster homes but with no grants or funding, all costs are covered by adoption fees, donations & fundraising.
