Hearts for Hounds

We are a nonprofit organization specializing in the rescue of small dogs and puppies of all breeds and mixes. We are comprised of dedicated volunteers who share a common goal and compassion, which is to educate the public regarding animal welfare and find qualified homes for abandoned and forgotten animals. Because we are a rescue organization, we respect and support our local shelters. We recommend that you first visit your local shelter where many beautiful and loving animals are waiting to be adopted. If you are unable to find what you are looking for, please come visit us. Donations by individuals like yourself allow us to continue rescue and placement services, all while maintaining the health and well-being of each animal within our care. To date, we have successfully placed over 5,000 dogs and puppies in loving and caring homes.
