Please be a responsible pet owner and have all pets spayed/neutered to reduce the overpopulating, homeless, and neglected pets that roam the streets and go hungry. UPDATE: FROM OUR START-UP DATE, 10-11-03 THROUGH 12-25-05: WE HAVE FOUND "FOREVER HOMES" FOR 179 HOMELESS ANIMALS. THANKS FOR ALL THE SUPPORT. Who We Are Pick-A-Pet Adoptions was established in October, 2003. We are a non-profit organization established under Section 501 (c) 3 of the Internal Revenue Code. Our goal is to reduce the number of animals euthanized in Chattooga County and surrounding areas. We are dedicated to assisting homeless pets find their "forever home". We do not have a shelter (we are a home-based rescue) therefore all animals are placed in foster homes until the "purr-fect furever" home is found.
