Friends of Animals is a no-kill cat and dog shelter that was founded in 1983. We are a non-profit placement and rescue organization registered in Sacramento with the Board of Charitable Trusts. This is strictly a volunteer organization that depends on private donations for its support. Our goal is to assist as many animals as possible, providing whatever care necessary to keep the animals in our care healthy and happy
