Siberian Husky Rescue of Central Texas is a is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization dedicated to saving Siberian Huskies in the Central Texas area. Most of our dogs come from area pounds and animal control facilities where they would be killed if they were not taken into our program, other dogs were found as strays. We do not take owner surrenders. We can however help owners who can no longer care for their pets, get them adopted. There are lots of great Siberian Huskies that need homes in the Heart of Texas. If you are truly interested in adopting a husky please do some research and see what you will be getting into. There are several links on the breed info page that will get you started. . UNFORTUNATLY WE CAN ONLY RESCUE DOGS FROM SHELTERS. IF WE TOOK DOGS FROM INDIVIDUALS WE WOULD NOT BE ABLE TO RESCUE DOGS IN DANGER OF EUTHANAZATION. wE WOUYLDNT HAVE THE ROOM. Help save a life by adopting, volunteering, or donating. Our rescue is always in need of collars, frontline, dogfood, doghouses, etc...........Many of these dogs have been mistreated and neglected. Please remember we depend on your donations.
