Flower Mound Humane Society

The Flower Mound Humane Society is a non-profit 501(c), all volunteer organization dedicated to the rescue and placement of unwanted and abused animals in Flower Mound and the surrounding areas. We are also committed to spay/neuter assistance and education to companion animal guardians. FMHS does not have a shelter, so all animals in our program are placed in temporary foster homes until permanent homes can be found. Mission Statement The Flower Mound Humane Society is dedicated to improving the quality of life for animals in Flower Mound and the surrounding communities by: Providing caring, responsible environments for abandoned, abused, and unwanted animals. Providing humane education and community information services. Endeavoring to reduce animal overpopulation and to prevent cruelty. Serving as an advocate for animals and promoting humane standards. Enhancing the relationship between animals and people.
