Miami County Humane Society Union Twp. Cat/Kitten TNR ProgMiami County (of Ohio) Humane Society (MCHS) is a non-profit, all volunteer organization that is interested in the welfare of the animals in our community. Our Union Township Feral (wild) Cat Trap, Neuter and Release (TNR) Program (which includes the communities of West Milton, Potsdam, Laura and Ludlow Falls, OH) has rescued some socialized stray cats and kittens. Millcreek All Breed RescueWe are selective in placing our pets and applications are mandatory. These pets which come into rescue want a second chance and we want to be assured that they have the best home possible. Once an application is completed & approved, your vet will be contacted for reference and a home check will be done. If you currently own other pets, a 'Meet and Greet Session' may be required. Most of our fosters are placed in the Ohio Area; however, there is volunteer rescue transport where the dog can be transported to almost anywhere in the US. I travel to Frederick MD once a month and transport dogs to that area a lot.
