We are a very small group of foster homes, specializing in all-breed rescue and pit bull education. We do not have a shelter. Our volunteers are dedicated to providing a loving home environment for each foster dog. We strongly believe in educating the public on responsible pet care and restoring the image of the pit bull breeds through responsible pit bull ownership and education. We accomplish this through distributing printed educational material and providing online links to helpful pet care and behavior advice.

A.C. PAW is an all volunteer, 501(c)3 non-profit organization. We are licensed with the Department of Agriculture.
AC PAW started as a vision of two people, Brian Manley and June McGrath to ensure a safe haven for animals from abuse, hunger, disease and death. As we all know to well, the over population problem happening at animal shelters, A.C. PAW was founded to give the animals a second chance at life.
We are officially begining our 8th year of volunteer service.

Adopt a Friend for Life of Southwest Michigan - otherwise known as AFL - is an all-volunteer animal rescue organization and was specifically organized to fill a very specific void in our community, namely to offer an alternative to the traditional overcrowded, overtaxed and undermanned animal pounds. We are incorporated with the State of Michigan, a federally recognized 501 (c)(3) tax-exempt non-profit corporation, and registered with the Michigan Dept. of Agriculture as an Animal Sheltering Agency (status pending)

Adopt-A-Pet is a non-profit charity program which is run by volunteers. Our pets are housed in foster care homes rather than a shelter. This way, they are kept in a very similiar environment to that of their new adoptive home.

ATRA is a volunteer operated nonprofit organization dedicated to new beginnings for displaced Airedale Terriers. We try to place every dog possible and carefully screen all incoming dogs, consulting experts when necessary, to identify those with socially unacceptable behavior. Of these, we work with the ones who can benefit from training and re-home only those we know can be placed safely. We provide spay and neuter services and essential vet care to place them with new carefully matched permanent adoptive homes. We provide public education through handouts, public education, individual counseling, our website, canine events, community referrals, and our monthly newsletter.
