Founded in April of 2004 and registered with the State of Michigan, Saint Francis rescue is committed to the betterment of all animals, with a new commitment to neglected and abused animals. For over 30 years of animal advocacy and a personal love of horses has brought the realization that many well meaning people are ill equipped and inexperienced in the proper care and treatment of farm animals. We will continue our efforts to include horses destined for slaughter and other farm stock suffering severe neglect

Second Noah is a non profit organization founded by two lifelong friends in west central Michigan. We recognised the need for an alternative to "dog pounds" that euthanize or give animals to research. We are a no-kill organization promoting spaying and neutering as the only effective solution to pet over-population.

The Safe Haven, Inc. has been dedicated to rescuing lost, abandoned, abused, neglected or otherwise needy Rottweilers, helping them to heal, giving them hope for their future and finding them loving forever homes since 1995. We are all volunteers and are funded by donations made tax deductible by our 501(c)(3) status.
Our Rottweilers come from animal shelters, humane societies, veterinarians and from good Samaritans who cross paths with ones in need. They are evaluated for temperament before being accepted into rescue. We also assist owners "rehome" their pets, by doing referrals with the owner acting as the foster home.

Rescued Hearts is a new animal rescue group that is serving the southeastern Michigan area.
Our primary goal is to help find loving homes for rescued animals. In addition one of our main missions is to develop a spay/neuter program. This effort is too help reduce the number of homeless animals.
Another goal is education. We hope to educate the public on general animal care, behavior, etc.
We are working on getting our non-profit status. Our paperwork has been filed, and we hope to have our 501-3c soon. Currently, we have several foster homes that are temporarily taking care of the cats and dogs.
