Meade County Animal ShelterThe purpose of PINS is to prevent cruelty to animals, to relieve the suffering of animals, to promote the ideal that all animals within county limits are provided for in a safe and healthy manner, and to advance humane education. PINS has come a long way in just over four years. We raised enough money to put an addition on the shelter and to renovate the entire facility in our first two years of existence. The shelter is now a facility where Meade County residents can recover pets that were lost or adopt a new pet.
