We are a privately run rescue, specializing in retraining & rehoming animals in need. We work with the local humane societies in Milwakee, Chicago and Tennessee. We are not a shelter, but a rescue run out of our homes. Working with only a small number of animals, we try to provide the best training and placement possible. ALL animals are fixed, current on shots, microchipped, heartworm tested and if from out of state have current health certificates

The Plainfield Animal Control Shelter is a municipal dog pound. On an average, we process approximately three hundred animals per year. Our average adoption rate is 85%. Dogs are the primary animal that we house. The animal control unit is responsible for enforcing all Connecticut animal control laws. The Animal Control Officer visits the elementary and middle schools twice yearly speaking on a variety of topics. The unit also participates in the annual pet show co-sponsored by the recreation department and the national adopt-a-thon sponsored by the North Shore Animal League. We offer yearly rabies clinics sponsored by the Connecticut Municipal Animal Control Officer's Association. Our primary goals are to educate the public, find loving homes for the animals that find their way to our shelter, and to maintain a clean and healthy environment at the shelter.

We are a 501c3 non-profit potbellied pig sanctuary dedicated to caring for unwanted, abused, abandoned and neglected potbellied pigs. We have 38 secluded acres in rural Missouri. All pigs have full run of the entire 38 acres to entertain themselves during the day and warm, cozy barns to sleep in at night. As a sanctuary, the pigs who come here are promised a permanent home for life. Adoptions may be considered as we would love to give the pigs the opportunity to have alot of one-on-one time.
