Rabbit AdvocatesRabbit Advocates is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization whose volunteers specialize in educating the public about the care of domestic rabbits. We aim to place surrendered or abandoned rabbits in loving homes where they will be welcomed as family members. Formerly a part of the Oregon Humane Society, in 2002 we created a group solely devoted to promoting the welfare of domestic rabbits. The Rabbit Advocates operate an education and adoption website as well as two help lines; one through the Oregon Humane Society and one on our own. We hold rabbit adoption outreach events and other activities at locations around the Portland Metro Area and hold monthly meetings at Oregon Humane Society. Rainbow Bridge Can Wait Animal Rescue and AdoptionWe are a small no-kill rescue working towards educating the public about Spay and Neuter we also want to educate our community as well as the surronding communitys about humane treatment of these wonderful companions. Your adoption fees go to the care of the dogs, with them another life can be saved. Sadly Oklahoma has a 95% kill rate. Our local pound does not kill to make room they destroy the animals after 3 days, if the owner does not claim them or they are not adopted. They will not hold the dogs for me if my shelter is full, so I can pull them into rescue! Please if you are not interested in those on death row look at our adoptable pets, maybe you can make room by adopting one of our other companions.
