We believe there is a real need for breed education. There are many reasons Doberman Pinschers end up in shelters, become stray or abandoned. We seek to make the general public aware that Doberman Pinschers are companion animals; not guard dogs to be left in a yard. We inform people of the importance of proper socialization, the need for training for a dog of any age, and the activity requirements of a working breed.

Since the turnover is SO great, the animals listed may not be as current. IF you are interested in saving a life, PLEASE GO IMMEDIATELY TO THE SHELTER!!! Bud's Place is a retirement home for small, geriatric dogs. As you can see, sometimes we have a visitor who isn't small and certainly not geriatric, but mainly we're here for those whose owners could no longer care for them, or, sadly, were tossed away for a newer version.
