Vicky's Pet ConnectionVicky's Pet Connection is a growing non-profit organization in Kent County. Our mission is to rescue and recycle unwanted pets and to emphasize low/no cost spays and neuters. Every dog and cat that passes through VPC is sterilized. We are a "no kill" organization working to secure foster homes for the many animals that pass through our door. The pets are given medical attention, grooming and manner lessons if need be. Keep in mind some of the animals have been neglected (or worse) and foster homes provide the extra TLC they may need. Pontotoc Animal Welfare SocietyPontotoc Animal Welfare Society was incorporated as a nonprofit, charitable orgainization in September, 1982. PAWS operates the animal shelter for the purpose of sheltering lost, unwanted, sick and injured animals until a new home can be found or the animal is humanely disposed. PAWS also has an agreement with the city of Ada for the placement of impounded dogs and cats. These animals must be kept for 72 hours allowing the owner time to reclaim. Donations to this organization are tax deductible. We are always in need of collars, leashes, canned cat and dog food, treats, toys, bath towels, paper towels, pens and paper. We love having visitors. Please come and see our new "cat room" where cats can be free in a nice sunny room to play and sleep. PAWS also now has a "visiting room". There you can take the dog/cat that you like and get to know them better. New Beginnings Animal Rescue of Robertson CountyWe are currently filled up and are no longer accepting any other dogs, cats or puppies. All the dogs we have are not listed on the website. We hope to add more in the near future as time permits. We have an urgent need to adopt some of the adult dogs. We may have to put some of the animals down due to personal funds getting low. We are not a non-for-profit organization and are in desperate need for dog food donations. We do all we can but cannot do it all ourselves.
