Animal Rescue LeagueAnimal Rescue League is a 501(c)(3) non-profit humane organization dedicated to the rescue and rehabilitation of domestic and feral animals, as well as educating the public about the responsibilities of animal care to further develop public awareness regarding care, conservation and the human-animal bond within the community. Aussie Rescue of MinnesotaAussie Rescue of Minnesota, Inc. (ARM) is a non-profit adoption and referral organization dedicated to placing homeless Australian Shepherds in loving, permanent homes. However, if a Poodle is beyond help (trained for aggression and poses an immediate threat) BY LAW the dog must be euthanized for both the safety of all people involved as well as the dogs own well being.We will also euthanize a Poodle that is terminally ill and beyond medical help with no hope of any quality of life left.At "The Rainbow Bridge", the Poodle will be happily waiting for someone's empty arms of love!!Aside from these specific circumstances, we believe no Poodle is beyond being adopted by the right people. All 4 Animals RescueI started this rescue from my home to try and be a part of the solution. I am currently trying to find a bigger place to be able to help out more animals. Many of the pets go to foster homes until adopted. All 4 Animals is in great need of foster homes!! All 4 Aniamls has been having good luck finding new forever homes for our furry friends. However there are always more needing your help. We do not have the room to accept all pets, sometimes fosters are available. We prefer you contact us and keep the pet until we can help you re home it. We also understand, there are situations that are unavoidable and we do accept some pets, but there are stipulations. NEWS We are now a Incorporated as a Non-Profit Domestic Corporation, through the State of IN as of 07/24/06. Lakeland Animal ShelterWalworth County Humane Society was accepted by the state of Wisconsin as a non-profit, tax exempt organization in November of 1978. In 1985 the name was changed to Lakeland Animal Welfare Society (LAWS). Lakeland Animal Shelter is owned and operated by Lakeland Animal Welfare Society. It is centrally located three miles south of Elkhorn, WI. on highway 67, and it is the only animal shelter in Walworth County. Its doors are open to the public six days a week except on legal holidays. The shelter is staffed by dedicated and trained employees. Volunteers also play a crucial role in meeting many of the shelter's special care needs. A board of directors, elected by LAWS members, establishes the policies of the Society and the operation guidelines for Lakeland Animal Shelter. At LAWS it is our goal to prevent cruel treatment to animals.
