Animal Guardian Angel Rescue (AGAR) is a home operated organization that is committed to rescuing animals and placing them in loving and caring forever homes. Funding for AGAR comes solely from donations. Most of the animals that come to AGAR are saved from being euthanized in over crowded shelters, others are abandoned animals, or animals that are owner releases. Once in custody of Animal Guardian Angel Rescue, a veterinarian checks the overall health of the animal, and updates all vaccinations. We try to ensure that all dogs are housetrained and have some basic obedience before being placed in their adoptive homes. We are always in need of voluteers who can foster animals in need of loving homes. Donations: We would greatly appreciate any donations in the form of: monetary donations, dog food, cat food, blankets, towels, sheets, dog beds, dog houses, leashes, collars, money orders payable to E-town Animal Hospital, flea prevention products, crates, and etc. Thank you for all your help.

The purpose of PINS is to prevent cruelty to animals, to relieve the suffering of animals, to promote the ideal that all animals within county limits are provided for in a safe and healthy manner, and to advance humane education. PINS has come a long way in just over four years. We raised enough money to put an addition on the shelter and to renovate the entire facility in our first two years of existence. The shelter is now a facility where Meade County residents can recover pets that were lost or adopt a new pet. You can read more about this at the Meade County Animal Shelter link.

P.A.W.S of Hillsborough County has been active in the community for 10 years, aiding in the rescue of abandoned and abused animals and placing them in new and loving homes. Every animal adopted out has been or will be spayed/neutered by P.A.W.S before they reach sexual maturity. Our mission is to educate the public to the plight of these unwanted animals and impress upon them the necessity for spaying and neutering to control pet overpopulation.

The St. Martin Humane Society was founded in April 1999 by a group of concerned citizens. The Society obtained a 501 (c3) tax exemption status in June 2000 and relies on community support and fund raising to fulfill its mission. We have pets for adoption from different sources (strays, owner released...) and we rely solely on foster homes for the animal in our care. We also work very hard to try to reduce the overpopulation of domestic animals in the area served by the Society through low cost and free spay-neuter programs. Because we neither have a facility nor employees, all the money we raised is used for the pets in our care and our spay/neuter program.
