Tx Ferret Lovers RescueWe take in ALL ferrets regardless of age or condition. We are no kill unless the animal is in a helpless painful condition, otherwise all ferrets receive up to date vaccinations, microchipping, and medical/surgical treatment necessary. We have foster homes of not over 6 or 7 ferrets where those over 5 are placed to live out their lives with our paying all medical needs. We interview and adopt out ferrets to help with the medical expenses which runs over $1000 per month by also having garage sales, bake sales and other money raising functions to support the rescue. People Animals Team-up Successfully Inc (PATS)P.A.T.S. is NY state charitable corporation and is recognized by the IRS as a charity. PATS is assisting Long Island Cat Project in the Trap Neuter(ear tip)and Release of ferals. Donations are always needed to pay for the veterinary expenses. Lake County Animal ControlLake County Animal Control is a non-profit orginization, under the control of our local Sheriff's Department. We have a total of 20 kennels for dogs and puppies, and 8 cages for cats and kittens. We try to house animals as long as health and space permit. There are two full time ACO's on duty that share in all the responsibilities that are needed to keep the facility up and running. Our office hours are Wed. - Fri. from 12:00pm - 3:00pm.
