We are a non-profit, no-kill animal rescue and shelter, located on eight acres of land just north of Stoughton, Wisconsin. Our mission is to provide a voice for those who cannot speak for themselves and a safe haven for animals while they await permanent loving homes.
Country Animal Haven was established in September of 2000. Since that time, over 1300 cats, kittens, dogs, puppies and other animals have passed through our doors. Some remain at the shelter in life-long care, but most have found new families and new lives.
Country Animal Haven endeavors to be a strong presence in the community, working to increase awareness of animal issues. We strongly advocate spaying and neutering of both feral and pet cats to reduce the overabundance of unwanted kittens and improve the general health of adult cats. We hope for the day when all animals will know what it means to be wanted, loved and cared for.
Country Animal Haven is the only alternative, cage-free no-kill shelter and sanctuary in the area.

Mit Liebe German Shepherd Dog Rescue began in October of 1997. In those 6 years we have 'rescued' just over 100 German Shepherd Dogs. The rescue was started because of the problem of overpopulation, not only GSDs, but all pets. German Shepherd Dogs have been a favorite breed of mine for years. The German Shepherd Dog is a loyal, brave, and beautiful companion.
With our volunteers, we are trying to make a difference.
The best part of rescue is seeing a dog that was sick and underweight when he came into rescue, going to his forever home, healthy and at a comfortable weight.
One of the hardest parts of rescue, is saying no to a shelter or an owner surrender. NO, meaning that we just do not have any room. And if none of the rescues have room, then what happens to the dog?
Please, have your pet spayed or neutered.

We are a rescue that helps local and not-so-local animal shelters place their animal in loving forever homes. Most shelters in this country are overwhelmed with animals, not enough space, help or money. We go into these shelters to rescue adoptable animals whose lives are about to be cut short.

ANIMAL RESCUE FEDERATION Superior, Wisconsin (revised September, 2002) We are a charitable nonprofit organization devoted to the welfare and humane treatment of animals. Our main focus is finding good, permanent homes for homeless companion animals through our screening process and humane education. We strive to educate the public on the care and responsibility of a pet through leaflets, newsletters, newspaper articles and our website. We rescue animals from abusive situations and we seek veterinary care for animals who need it. Animals in our care receive vaccinations at the appropriate ages, they are de-wormed, treated for flea and tick infestation if necessary, fed, groomed, exercised, socialized and played with in order to provide them with as good a life as possible while they await a home. Adopted animals leave ARF with certificates for a free spay/neuter surgery. Help save a pet today.

Animal Rescue and Farm Sanctuary serves as an adoption facility for barnyard animals of all kinds. Horses, Cattle, Potbellied Pigs, Goats, Sheep and others species in need of finding a new home. We believe in rescue and relocation, networking with other shelters and strive to find caring individuals that have a genuine interest in specialty barnyard pets. We accept surrendered animals as long as the prior owner understands that their pet will be placed in a new home. We do not believe in holding on to a large number of animals when there are wonderful families waiting on our list for a chance to have a hobby farm pet of their own
