Hazen's Haven for Small Dog RescueHazen's Haven is a group of hard-working volunteers who are dedicated to creating a "safe Haven" for all of the rescued companions that are welcomed into Hazen's Haven For Small Dogs rescue program. Our rescue brings in those small dog companions that will not exceed 20 lbs at maturity. We foster, seek rehabilitative services as needed, and through a thorough screening program, find adoptive homes that will provide only the very best care, and that will be able and willing to make a permanent commitment to any rescued companion that may become a member of their households. Only Caroline County residents or adjoining County residents (Hanover, King George, Essex, Spotsylvania, Stafford, King and Queen and King William) are able to adopt non-sterilized animals. By state law, anyone who adopts a dog or cat must have his or her new pet sterilized.
