San Antonio PACT was officially formed as a non-profit, 501(c)3 organization in March of 2004. Teresa and her husband Robert have been involved in animal rescue and assistance for more than 20 years collectively. San Antonio PACTs services consist of spaying and neutering, providing veterinarian care, fostering/placement, as well as assisting people, shelters, rescue groups and rescuers. These endeavors are an attempt to keep animals in loving homes and safeguarded. Since neglected animals in San Antonio are an epidemic, San Antonio PACT was created to act as a vessel to fund these projects and programs through grants, tax-deductible donations and fundraising. San Antonio destroys tens-of-thousands of animals a year. Because of this, an objective of San Antonio PACT is to assist in the reduction of animals destroyed by implementing various programs within the communities of San Antonio.

An independent rescuer (soon to be a 501(c)3!) dedicated to saving the lives of Welsh Corgis (both Pembrokes and Cardigans), Corgi mixes, and Great Danes. At this time we cannot take on Great Dane mixes. We are loosely allied with other Corgi rescuers, both club-affiliated and independents, and other Great Dane rescuers, in Texas and around the country

We are a non profit organization dedicated to the rescue of abandoned, mistreated or lost pets (dogs, cats, birds). Every pet that comes our way gets a complete veterinary work up including physical exam, shots, neutering/spaying, and treatment of all preexisting conditions. They get basic training and we work with them on socialization skills to make them ready for their new, permanent, loving home.

We are in the process of developing an Equine Assisted Psychotherapy Program. All of the animals who we foster and have available for adoption are "rescued." Most have come from kill shelters. Due to the never ending influx of wonderful animals into pounds & shelters every day, and the massive problem of pet-overpopulation, millions of wonderful animals end up getting killed each year.
