Tails of the Tundra Siberian Husky Rescue is a nonprofit (501c3) volunteer organization, formed to help Siberian Huskies and Siberian Husky Mixes that have been abused, neglected, abandoned, or surrendered by their owners. Our goals are to place these dogs in loving homes and to educate people about the characteristics of this wonderful, yet often misunderstood, breed. To accomplish these goals and our overall mission, our network of volunteers throughout PA, MD, NJ, and DE are involved in raising funds, transporting and fostering dogs, developing and maintaining our web site, and representing the group at events.

We had to stop taking in Ferrets at this time due to high medical bills. Our bill needs to be paid off with our vet before we can resume taking in ferrets. We do not expect to have any ferrets for adoption until well into 2008 and for our medical bills are still over $3000.00

TWAIN is a no-kill volunteer-staffed, non-profit organization that rescues and places unwanted and abandoned animals. The orphans we receive are spayed or neutered (if old enough), receive shots, and all necessary medical care. They are then placed in foster homes, not a shelter, or are boarded at TWAIN's expense until they are adopted by animal lovers such as yourself.

Twin Tiers Rescue is a rescue group helping displaced small dogs (mainly Pomeranians and Pekingese) in Pennsylvania, New York and New Jersey find new, loving homes. All dogs receive necessary veterinary care, including vaccinations and spay or neuter. The dogs are kept in volunteer foster homes until they are adopted into a new, permanent home. Foster homes are a vital part of our rescue as some of these dogs have never known love or kindness. Fostering allows them to learn how to trust and live indoors in a family environment. We are always in desperate need of foster homes. If interested in applying to become a foster, please email us.
