Paws Inc.

PawsPals is a private, non-profit organization whose mission is to provide homes for pets in need of adoption. PawsPals was established in the 1980's by Mayor Tom Elias whose love for animals prompted him and other caring members of the community to create PawsPals in the hopes of bringing new "family members" to people who had the same love for animals he did. Sadly, Tom Elias has passed but his legacy lives on through PawsPals. Staff members and various members of the community devote their time to ensure that EVERY pet has the opportunity for a good home. With this concept the dream of Mayor Elias and other caring members of the community will continue to flourish.

Broken Arrow Animal Shelter

We are a municipal run shelter. We are a division of the Police Department. WE ARE NOT NO-KILL. Most of our animals are picked up running the streets, getting into trash, causing accidents, viciously charging people, etc. Some are turned in to the shelter because their owner's either no longer want them or they simply can't care for them anymore. Although we are a rather small shelter, we do our best in saving as many as possible. We do work with several rescue groups that pull adoptable animals that were not adopted in the allotted time frame in which we hold them. Strays are held for 5 working days to give the owner a chance to reclaim them. After that, we reserve the right to place them up for adoption, allow them to go to a rescue, or euthanize them.Owner surrenders are available immediately for adoption, rescue, or euthanization. Our animals are given the best possible chance to get seen and get adopted or reclaimed. In addition to posting on PetFinder, we also post in the local newspaper and on the City's website at www.brokenarrowok.gov .

We obtain our "orphans" from the lonely streets of Rogers County. Many are abandond or lost with no indentification to the whereabouts of their owners. We take in some "owned animals" but only in situations where the owner has tried to find a new home or keeping the animal is just beyond their (the owners) means.

Cimmaron Valley Humane Society

WE ARE A NO KILL SHELTER! BUT EACH MONTH WE HAVE TO TURN DOWN AROUND 50 DOGS OR CATS BECAUSE WE DON'T HAVE SPACE FOR THEM. PLEASE HELP US ! SPAY AND NEUTER, ADOPT, FOSTER, AND DO ALL YOU CAN FOR THE ANIMALS THAT CAN'T DO FOR THEMSELVES! We are a newly formed shelter with lots of learning to do. We don't actually have a shelter building, we are a network of homes trying to help our furry friends. Donations appreciated! We don't charge for the daily feeding and care of the dogs & cats, we just want to help them find forever homes and loving owners. We do charge a small fee for neutering or spaying the dogs & cats (our cost). Also our cost for getting them heart worm or feline virus checked and all shots up to date. We do not adopt animals without spaying or neutering them first. If the world were a perfect place all animals would have loving homes and no one would have to open animal shelters!

Drumright Animal Shelter

Kim Ramsey , Sarah McClendon, Ann Dodson and Doug Mauck are volunteers at the shelter. Any of these people will be more than happy to assist you in finding your pet or helping you find just the right animal to be your forever companion !! We are located beside Drumright's water pollution control facility. North on Harley St. to Maple St. Then East on Maple St. until you reach the Drumright water pollution control facility.
