The Marley Fund is dedicated to making a difference in the fight against feline retroviruses, including both feline leukemia and feline immunodeficiency viruses, through public service, promoting awareness and educating the public. Knowledge about feline diseases and their prevention is essential to the Fund’s mission of stopping the viral cycles and ultimately eradicating feline retroviruses. As the only national nonprofit dedicated to offering an alternative option to immediate euthanasia, we have created a safe haven for infected cats—where quality care and life enrichment are the primary concern.

After 2 years of dedicated rescuing, the National White German Shepherd Rescue no longer has foster homes available. Therefor, can not offer the help so many abandoned/abused/neglected white German shepherds need. Through no fault of their own, these dogs have little or no chance at all at love and even at life. Please find it in your hearts to help this wonderful breed in any way you can. Adopting, fostering or even sponsoring will give them the chance to live just a while longer. Until hope comes and someone welcomes them in to their home. THERE IS NO REWARD GREATER THEN TO LOVE A DOG!!!

Beaufort County Animal Control is a county run agency responsible for enforcing State and Local animal control laws and ordinances. Part of the job of Beaufort County Animal Control is to education the public in about rabies, pet overpopulation and responsible pet ownership. It is required that all animals adopted from the shelter are spayed and neutered to help stop unwanted animals being born that would other wise add to the pet overpopulation problem.
