Franklin County Humane SocietyFCHS is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization comprised entirely of volunteers from Franklin County and throughout the state and country. It was formed in 2002 to help solve the problem of unwanted dogs and cats in this region. Its long-term goal is to build an animal shelter where area pets can find safe refuge until they can be adopted to permanent homes.
