We need volunteers who would like to do what we do: walk the dogs at the pound, help find homes, educate the public about our spay/neuter programs, get the cats to Petsmart, clean the cat cages at Petsmart. We need people who want to become proactive in the community as volunteers in our organization. We need people who are fearless about asking for monies for our adoption programs and city shelter needs and are not afraid to throw their selves amidst the eternal needs of homeless pets.

Pine B.A.R.C. is a no-kill adoption center located on an 80 acre farm in Lamar County, Mississippi. We currently house more then 80 dogs in large fenced in areas. We depend on foster homes to house the cats and kittens. In addition to dogs and cats we are also set up to house hamsters and other pet rodents, rabbits and other small furry animals like ferrets, snakes and other reptiles and pet fish. We feel that preventing the births of the animals before they occur is the solution to the problem of overpopulation and strays.
