PHHA was formed in early 2003 to help the plight of the homeless animals in Phelps County, Missouri. Cats and dogs who are brought into the Rolla city animal shelter often face euthanasia due to lack of facilities and pet overpopulation. And unfortunately, Phelps county does not have a no-kill shelter.

Katty ShacK is a small, not-for-profit, all-volunteer organization that always needs foster homes, referrals, and donations! We love and treat cats like family members, do all we can to learn their temperament and to socialize them as well as give our cats the best veterinarian care we can. We cannot guarantee the health of any animal, but we do our best to adopt only healthy cats and kittens.

We are a small, no-kill cat and kitten rescue & adoption group located in St. Joseph, MO. Kitties that come into our care have a safe & loving home with us for as long as they need. We have limited space, so when you adopt from us, or from most no-kill shelters in general, you are saving two lives...the one you adopt & the one that can now come in.
