Minnesota Sheltie Rescue is an all-volunteer non-profit organization dedicated to finding the best and last homes for Shelties in need. Our Shelties live in foster homes until adoption and are examined by a veterinarian, treated for parasites, vaccinated, spayed/neutered, tested for heartworm/lyme/erlichia, given heartworm preventative, and other medical services are performed as needed. Our adoption process requires an adoption application, references and a home visit.

S.A.F.E. Sanctuary is a group of local people who have banded together to Save Animals From Euthanasia. Our goal is to find good forever homes for homeless pets. We are a foster based rescue so we can only take in animals as room is available. We work with animals on behavior issues when ever possible. Since we are a no kill group, we do everything possible to find homes for the animals. Unfortunately, we are unable to take in dogs that have a history of aggression or biting. The dogs are not kept in kennels, they are all fostered in our homes.
