Three years ago a group of women bonded together with a common mission to rescue purebred cats from distressed situations and to place them in loving, permanent homes. Why single out purebred cats? Because, many well known groups existed for domestic cats, but none specifically for the purebred feline.

We are not a pound or shelter. Animals are fostered in our homes. This provides us with a wealth of information and allows us to match the right humans to the right animal. We are what is considered a no-kill organization. Meaning, we do everything possible to help an animal before considering ending their lives. We have spent thousands of dollars on an individual animal. We are of the philosophy that once an animal enters our program, we are responsible for them for life. We are very thankful to those that are compassionate and help us with financial donations as well as our volunteers that donate their time as well as money when the need arises.

Furry Country Club Inn is funded entirely by donations and run by the hearts of our staff & volunteers who are dedicated to placing homeless/in need of home dogs from shelters/individuals/Mills in the U.S.A. and finding them permanent homes. We take in dogs regardless of age, and/or medical condition. We currently are in the process of building our facility where they can be fostered until they find their new loving, responsible, lifelong homes. Until then they are being fostered by volunteers. All of our rescued dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchiped, and all known medical conditions are addressed and/or treated as appropriate before placement in a permanent home. Diamond Springs Boxer Rescue is a private, volunteer, organization. We are dedicated to the rescue of unwanted, neglected, abused, and abandoned Boxers from shelters, as strays, or from owners who need to give up their Fur Kid due to changing life circumstances such as: relocation, financial hardship, divorce, illness, or death. We provide food, shelter, medical attention, and TLC during their wait for the "RIGHT" forever home. We are committed to forming an alliance with others who do rescue in Michigan and the surrounding areas to provide better access to fur kids in need and potential applicants. We can't save every Fur Kid but we can make a difference...one Fur Kid at a time!

We first opened our doors to rescue in January of 2004 and we have taken in over 200 ferrets. Who would have thought that there would be such a need in my area! We have had so many come in that have touched our hearts dearly! We started to do Ferret Education Day at our local pet store (thank you Dee and Cathy for helping us get started) and have since developed a wonderful working relationship with the store employees. We have met a lot of wonderful ferret owners and have helped a lot of new ferret owners. We enjoy educating the public about these awesome little fur balls!!
