Second Chance Cat Rescue is run by volunteers and is supported by donations. All donations are tax deductible and all moneys received are used for veterinary care, food and advertising for the adoptions of the cats. Volunteers foster the cats while they await new homes. This allows for an evaluation of the cats social behavior and health. Volunteers then match prospective adopters with cats that will fit in well in their homes. Second Chance Cat resuce screens all potential adopters carefully.

We are a small group of individuals dedicated to rehoming abandoned and stray shelter cats into loving homes. Most of our animals come from high-kill shelters where space is always needed to make room for others. We are not a shelter; rather our cats are kept in foster homes where they can be evaluated for health and temperament
