Paws and More Animal RescuePaws And More Animal Rescue is dedicated to Jessie. Jessie was the type of dog most people dream of having, perfect if you will. When she passed I felt very empty and began visiting local shelters and saw the devastating mess that careless people were leaving behind when they got tired of there companions or found it to difficult to spay and neuter. I adopted a very pitiful Dalmatian and nursed her back to health. I then began trying to find a rescue that would place her only to find out that all the rescues were full with dogs that were or had been throuth the same as this poor dalmatian. Which is what inspired me to begin taking in dogs of my own to adopt out. So now, like the rest, I have filled my house with unwanted companions who are looking for forever homes. We are a completely not for profit rescue that is currently run only by family. The rescue exists only on personal income. All adoptoin fee's are used for the needs of the animals. We strive to place unwanted or neglected animals into loving forever homes. Most of our adoptable pets are dogs rescued from kill shelters but we also provide a safehaven for farm animals until they also can find their forever homes. Perfect Paws Pet Rescue Inc.Our mission is to provide a loving, safe, temporary home for dogs, puppies, cats and kittens coming from unfortunate circumstances; be it a shelter, another rescue, or simply an individual that can no longer care for them. We will provide these animals with age appropriate vaccinations including DHLPP, Rabies, and Kennel Cough. Our rescued dogs and puppies will be spayed/neutered, heartworm tested, wormed, on flea/tick prevention as well as heartworm prevention. Pet Neutering and Adoption ServicesInc.Twelve years ago a handful of people got together and decided that they should help do something about the number of unwanted domestic animals in our area. At that time they decided to form an organization called "Pet Neutering Services, Inc.". Pet Neutering Service's function was to help limited income people spay/neuter their pets. Over the years Pet Neutering and their participating veterinarians have assisted thousands of people spay/neuter their pets. In doing so, Pet Neutering gradually took on the responsibility of fostering and finding homes for unwanted animals. In the last couple of years our foster program has grown so much that we decided to change our name to "Pet Neutering & Adoption Services, Inc.". While we cannot help everyone that contacts us we try to help as many people and as many animals as we can. The organization also assists both Jasper and surrounding counties in occasional pet rescue and adoption when possible. Our organization found loving homes for numerous cats & dogs. This is a great accomplishment considering the small number of active volunteers that we have. Pet RefugePet Refuge is a not-for-profit "no-kill" animal shelter run by volunteers for the placement of unwanted and abandoned pets into responsible permanent homes. There is a waiting list to intake all animals that come into our shelter. The cat waiting list runs an average of 2-4 months long and the dog waiting list runs an average of 1-3 months long. We recommend that while you have your cat or dog on our waiting list, you also try other options in trying to place them such as run an ad in the newspaper (please do not advertise for free). Also, check with family, friends, co-workers ect., to see if they can help you out. Screen potential interested parties for your pet and ask for references including a Vet reference. Pet Refuge will try to help as many cats and dogs as possible; however, pet overpopulation is a problem in our community.
