Love of Labs, (LOLIN, INC) mission is to reduce the euthanasia rate of Labrador Retrievers throughout animal shelters of the Midwest . LOLIN will accomplish this goal by increasing public knowledge concerning the care, adoption and responsible ownership of the Labrador Retriever.
LOLIN volunteers have united to donate their love, time, energy and financial resources to save as many dogs as possible before they are killed at these shelters by gas or lethal injection . No dog should have to die because we, as human beings, have failed to provide for him/her. Society, in general, is not providing these shelter dogs with basic life supporting measures, such as necessary food, water, shelter, medical attention, and much needed sterilization, let alone LOVE and compassion.
The dogs that come into LOLIN’s program, receive all medical needs, are temperament tested, and sterilized immediately! We also provide these dogs with a loving foster home that rehabilitates them while we locate their permanent forever home. LOLIN knows that our dogs will be an exceptional addition to all that desire a wonderful, life-long, canine companion.
LOLIN, INC. is a not-for-profit, 501(c)3, IRS Public Charity and your donations are tax deductible. LOLIN is 100% voluntarily operated. Love of Labs receives our operational funds through adoption fees, donations, and various fundraisers ONLY.

We are an organization that works with stray & feral cats in Greene County, IN. We have created the "Stray Cat Paradise" which is a safe haven for stray cats and feral cats that for some reason can no longer be with their colony. The cats who live here are offered a different life than they had on the street because they are warm in winter and cool in summer. They have a home like setting with resin furniture, soft beds, plenty of toys , food ,water, and lots of LOVE & ATTENTION. Stray Cat Paradise was started in August of 2002. We also rescue and adopt out many cats and kittens to loving, responsible and permanent homes

The Marshall County Humane Society is dedicated to animal welfare. Our small shelter takes in stray dogs and cats and companion animals that for many reasons are no longer wanted by their owners. We take care of animal cruelty cases in our county, and have a spay/neuter program to help control the overpopulation of pets. We are proud to say that in 2000 we placed more than 300 pets in adoptive homes in Marshall County, Indiana.

We rescue purebred Dobermans and exotic birds. We are NOT a 501-c3 (donations are not tax deductible). We take care of the bills for the animals with the help of our wonderful vet, and a handful of other Doberman and Bird lovers. For the past 25+ years (and don't ask me [Chuck, Mary's husband] exactly how many years!) Mary has been involved with rescuing just about anything that came along (including me!). She is very knowledgeable in canine and parrot behavior and has a degree in Animal Science. She is also a groomer, dog trainer, pet sitter, and an animal massage practioner. She also represents a holistic pet food/nutritional supplements company out of Florida. She has taken her birds into libraries and schools to educate children about pet care and responsibility. We are a family affair! Our sons Andrew, Stephen, and Joseph have grown up around the animals and have become very knowledgeable in pet care, etc. They are a tremendous help to the rescue efforts.

We are a small, non-profit group of concerned citizens in a severely economically depressed area, with little community support for animal welfare. WE HAVE RECENTLY ACCEPTED ANOTHER BUILDING WITH CATS TO BE CARED FOR FROM LYONS FERAL CAT GUARDIANS WITH 15 CATS!! PLEASE HELP US CONTINUE THEIR CARE!!! While there are so many uwanted animals to help, we do NOT simply hand out pets. We take them into our hearts and homes and care greatly about their future. We do this because we care and want to know that the animals we help are in the best homes possible. Toward this end, we require applications, home visits and adoption fees which, (without government funding) allow us to continue this effort. Our group consists of dedicated volunteers only with NO PAID EMPLOYEES!! EVERY DONATION GOES DIRECTLY TO HELP AN ANIMAL! We are not a shelter but we do have a cat sanctuary and our dogs are housed in foster homes. WE ALWAYS NEED DONATIONS OF ANY ANIMAL ITEMS: HEARTWORM MEDS, FLEA TREATMENT, etc., AS WELL AS MONETARY DONATIONS! WE DO NOT RECEIVE GOV'T FUNDING OF ANY SORT AND RELY ONLY ON THE KINDNESS OF ANIMAL LOVERS TO HELP US CONTINUE OUR EFFORTS!
