Central Florida Pug Rescue
A little over three years ago, a pug owner who was moving asked Becky if she would take in her little lady Peewee, care for her and possibly find a new home. A few months went by and Becky found Peewee (now known as Mimi) a new home. Little did we know at the time that she would become our very first rescue and that we would eventually become an incorporated pug rescue. We realized there was a void in the central Florida area concerning pug rescue, care and adoption of pugs. Somehow the word spread that we were here and willing to help those in need. During the past year and half, operating unofficially, we received many calls and emails from other rescues in Florida and even some neighboring states asking if we would help them. We were very happy to help out in any way we could. After all it is for the well being of the pug no matter where they were.

We are a No Kill, Not For Profit (501(c)(3) Kitten and Cat Rescue Group. The kittens / cats we offer for adoption come from many different walks of life and are now in need of Loving and Caring Forever Homes. Prior to adoption, all of our kittens have been combo tested (negative) for Leukemia and AIDS, spayed / neutered, given at least their first vaccination (possibly even their second if they are old enough), been dewormed, and - if old enough - have had their rabies vaccination. Our goal as a rescue group is to place homeless cats and kittens into the best home possible. We would love to help you find the perfect addition to your family.

We are a small newly formed rescue with very limited space and in need of fosters. 501c3 cert pending approval. It is the purpose of the A.R.F. shack to rescue dogs in need of loving homes. In addition it is our goal to promote a supportive and strong alliance with other animal rights and rescue groups. We aim to work together to support legislation that protects animal rights and that enforces penalties on those that mistreat animals. We encourage all individuals to spay and neuter their pets and to avoid any support of breeders or organizations that do not act in the best interest of the animals they profit from.

We primarily rescue animals that are on death row at local Animal Control agencies to save the lives of the animals. Unfortunately, traditional local shelters are forced to use euthanasia regardless of age or health, as a means to control "overpopulation" of "unwanted" animals. The purpose of our organization is to save discarded companion pets' lives and find new homes for them. We do NOT ship or adopt our pets to homes outside of the state of Florida.

We are a small, independent rescue group in the Vero Beach, Florida, area. We typically only have one or two rescues in our program at one time. This allows us to focus on the individual needs of the rescue dog so that they can find their perfect forever family. We can also help you to "rehome" your border collie, if needed. Please don't hesitate to contact us with any questions.

“St. Martin’s was formed in 2003 to help meet the needs of the neediest dogs in the world of rescue – the handicapped and homeless. The dogs are all provided with veterinary care and loving homes, either permanent or foster. In addition, the dogs are provided with any necessary rehabilitation and physical therapy.
“St. Martin’s also provides medical care to animals belonging to the poor and the elderly in the community, who otherwise would not receive any medical care at all. And, when possible, we help other kinds of animals in need, such as injured ducks.
“St. Martin’s also strives to lessen animal cruelty and neglect through educating the community about the proper care of animals, the laws protecting animals, etc. This is done primarily through print ads and tabling (reaching out directly to the public at community events).

Adopt A Stray is an all volunteer, non-profit 501(c)(3) no kill animal rescue organization located in South Florida, founded by a small group of experienced volunteers. Since we do not yet have a shelter we operate as a foster care program, working to deal with the stray overpopulation by taking unwanted and unloved dogs and cats off the streets. Our foster homes provide temporary safe refuge until they are placed in a permanent loving home. Adopt A Stray relies exclusively on private donations to provide food and medical care, including the spay/neuter of adoptable pets and feral cats. There are no administration fees or professional fund-raisers to pay. 100% of all donations go directly to the care of our animals
