We are a small unit with the Coral Springs Police Dept. All animals picked up are strays or running at large with no form of ID. We post their pictures in hopes of reuniting them with their owners. WE DO NOT DO ADOPTIONS. We work closely with rescue groups on all unclaimed animals. If you are interested in any of our animals, please email us, and if the animal is unclaimed and goes to a rescue group we will forward your information to the appropriate group and also email you their information.

An average of 120 dogs and cats can be housed at the shelter. Sadly, some of these animals have to be euthanized. Every animal admitted to the shelter receives medical care, a warm safe environment in which to heal and learn to trust, and much love to aid in preparation for becoming adoptable. The programs are made possible by the county and caring people who provide funding which keeps the doors open.

Panhandle Animal Lovers
Friends - We are a group of friends rescuing homeless animals from the local animal control. If we do not rescue the animals, they will face certain death.
Non-Profit - We are a non-profit organization. Financial survival is strictly based on donations and the generosity of our kind supporters. All gifts and purchases are tax deductible.
Terrific Pets - We have terrific pets waiting for you! Why are they so terrific? Because all of our animals have proper vaccinations and are spayed or neutered before being placed in their forever homes. They are being cared for by kind care givers in temporary foster homes, so they are being socialized and are receiving initial training. We appreciate your visiting our terrific pets who are waiting for their special new forever home.

Since our formation in March, 1994, the National Greyhound Foundation Inc. has not taken a stance on greyhound racing, track operations, greyhound breeding, adoption program policies, rescue policies or any other position regarding the greyhound industry.
The fact remains that thousands of greyhounds are retired each year that are no longer competitive. Our goal is to educate the public and potential adopters on the nature of these gentle, loving dogs and get them adopted into loving homes.

“St. Martin’s was formed in 2003 to help meet the needs of the neediest dogs in the world of rescue – the handicapped and homeless. The dogs are all provided with veterinary care and loving homes, either permanent or foster. In addition, the dogs are provided with any necessary rehabilitation and physical therapy.
“St. Martin’s also provides medical care to animals belonging to the poor and the elderly in the community, who otherwise would not receive any medical care at all. And, when possible, we help other kinds of animals in need, such as injured ducks.
“St. Martin’s also strives to lessen animal cruelty and neglect through educating the community about the proper care of animals, the laws protecting animals, etc. This is done primarily through print ads and tabling (reaching out directly to the public at community events).

We are a small group of rescuers who joined together to care for homeless dogs and make them available for people who want a new family member. Our animals live in our homes as members of our family until they are adopted. We strive to match the adopter with the right dog. We require an application with references and a home visit before placing a dog in your home.

Feline Friends, your first choice in South Florida for quality cat adoptions. Visit our animal shelter located on the border of Broward County and Palm Beach County.
Our Mission Statement: Our mission is to provide a permanent home for homeless and abandoned cats. We medicate, vaccinate , test for disease, spay/neuter, socialize and prepare all cats for adoption into properly screened homes. If adoption is not feasible, we keep the cat safe and healthy within the shelter for the balance of its natural life.
Feline Friends is a 100% volunteer, non-profit, 501c3 organization. Our purpose is to uphold and strengthen our portion of the "safety net." This net is the No Kill-No More Homeless Pets movement that is slowly but surely spreading across our nation. We strive to put an end to the killing of adoptable healthy cats in our area by facilitating sterilization, increasing education, and doing adoptions.
