Osceola County Animal ControlWe are an Animal Control facility that is run by the County Government. We accept owner surrendered pets as well as stray animals. At times we have exotics and livestock. We have our own surgery facility with a contracted veterinarian. We spay and neuter every adopted animal that leaves our facility. We also vaccinate for the major diseases as well as heartworm test dogs and Leukemia/FIV test cats. All dogs have a microchip inserted. Please be aware that if you adopt a pet from us that it will not be ready to go home with you until it has had its surgery. Most animals go home the next day. All animals have to be held "stray" time if they have no owner. Pet Pal Rescue Inc.Pet Pal Rescue was founded in the early 1980's by two women when they realized the high number of animals that were being euthanized due to pet overpopulation and neglect. Driven by their passion for animals and desire to make a difference, they began taking animals from shelters, bringing them directly into their homes, and then finding permanent homes for each and every one of them. By 1988, they organized Pet Pal Rescue as a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization.
