Central Florida Pug RescueA little over three years ago, a pug owner who was moving asked Becky if she would take in her little lady Peewee, care for her and possibly find a new home. A few months went by and Becky found Peewee (now known as Mimi) a new home. Little did we know at the time that she would become our very first rescue and that we would eventually become an incorporated pug rescue. We realized there was a void in the central Florida area concerning pug rescue, care and adoption of pugs. Somehow the word spread that we were here and willing to help those in need. During the past year and half, operating unofficially, we received many calls and emails from other rescues in Florida and even some neighboring states asking if we would help them. We were very happy to help out in any way we could. Stray No MoreAbout Us Stray No More is a 501(c) 3 Volunteer Organization dedicated to reducing the number of animals euthanized in Palm Beach County, Florida through our Low Cost Spay/Neuter Program, Education and Adoption of rescued stray animals. Co-founded in July 1994, Stray No More is run completely by volunteers, 99% of those who work full time jobs. Donated money is tax deductible and 100% goes to benefit the animals, not people! We do not have a shelter. The rescued dogs, cats, puppies and kittens live in foster homes. We conduct extensive interviews, and home visits before an animal can be adopted.
