TOBY AND FRIENDS RESCUEToby and Friends was founded by Caitlin Johnson (fitness model/figure competitor). I got inspired by reading all the sad stories on pet finder and felt I had been blind by not knowing how badly animals were treated. I don't think many people realize what's going on until they visit a shelter or educate themselves. People tell me" the shelters should make more space", "they shouldn't kill dogs". Pooses and Pups RescuePooses and Pups Rescue is a non-profit rescue who rescues from the LA high kill shelters and works to inprove the plight of homeless animals in a rescue network. The founder, Mary Catalano is a professional standup comic who also hosts a Rescue Show on Cable in the LA area called Rescue Roundtable.
