PAL Humane Society is a 501 (c)(3) animal welfare organization located in the City of Victorville, CA. PAL's goal is to reduce euthanasia of healthy, adoptable animals in the Victor Valley. In 2005 we adopted out 437 animals (most of them from owners unable to keep them). PAL is looking into grants and capital funding. Our short term goals are to have an educational program for children in the school systems, to develop a spay/neuter program using vouchers expecially for low-income families, and to work with the senior citizen community. We rely solely on donations and our volunteers to meet our mission statement.

Papillons and Playmates has evolved out of Papillon Rescue of Southern California because we have room in our hearts and have made room in our foster homes for other small dogs who, through no fault of their own, are in need of forever homes.

We are first and foremost an avian adoption service. . We exist solely to help unwanted or found parrots and through educational classes and seminars we hope to dispel many of the myths and misconceptions that are prevalent today. We are also a parrot "rescue" in that we will do everything legally possible to remove a parrot from a harmful situation but in all honesty this is something that only happens very occasionally. Mostly we are here to help people who can no longer keep their bird for one reason or another.
