Boxer Rescue Fund, Inc. of Los AngelesFounded by Ursula Sauthier out of a love for the breed and fierce determination to aid homeless boxers in the Los Angeles area, the primary goal of Boxer Rescue Los Angeles has always been to save dogs being abandoned by owners or facing execution in shelters. While awaiting placement in a new home, the dogs are cared for, given needed medical attention and spayed or neutered prior to placement. BULL TERRIER RESCUE OF SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA INCBull Terrier Rescue of Southern California Inc. can state its Mission Statement quite simply. "He Ain't Heavy He's My Buddy," also "Everything deserves a chance at life." sums it up. We are here to help any homeless or unwanted Bull Terrier, whatever the reason. BTRSC was incorporated in 2002 as a 501(c) 3 non profit corporation. We are an all volunteer operation. No one gets paid, the only re-imbursements are for direct expenses. We maintain a kennel facility in the high desert region of Los Angeles county. Rescue in its current form owes its beginnings to two bull terriers. Roni"s Action Lizabull (Liza) and Action's In Living Color (Murphy), those two allowed us to bring unwanted dogs into our home, these two welcomed them. Their temperaments, and self-assurance made what has evolved to the current rescue possible. Bunnies Urgently Needing Shelter (B.U.N.S.)Bunnies Urgently Needing Shelter (B.U.N.S.) is an all volunteer, non-profit organization that cares for stray and abandoned rabbits at the Santa Barbara County Animal Shelter. B.U.N.S. operates the rabbit area under a contract to the county and at no cost to the public. Shelter rabbits are available as pets. Adopting families are counseled by a B.U.N.S. volunteer. We make sure that a rabbit is the right pet for you. We help you to select a rabbit that will fit into your home and life style. After adoption B.U.N.S. provides ongoing information on rabbit care.
