UNDERDOG Rescue, (100% non-profit), is dedicated to the rescue and rehabilitation of lost, abandoned and "DEATH ROW SHELTER ANIMALS" in need of loving homes. Our true passion is in the rescue of mixed breed dogs,...the UNDERDOGS, that are so often overlooked and forgotten! Our goal is to match "pets with people." We provide detailed personality profiles about our dogs: their traits, habits, likes and dislikes. We help our adopters pick the best animal, that fits their lifestyle, and personality. We support ALL our adoptions with medical attention, training and on-hand supervision. We strive to teach the precious gift of unconditional love between animal and man, in our efforts to rescue the wonderful UNDERDOGS OF THE WORLD!...

The Humane Society of Truckee-Tahoe works to find homes for adoptable animals in the Truckee/North Lake Tahoe, California area. We follow a strict policy of finding homes for every healthy adoptable animal. We are a non-profit organization staffed largely by volunteers working out of their homes. Because we have no animal shelter, we care for our animals in the Town of Truckee's non-public small animal kennel and through foster care in our homes
