FOTOS Dog RescueFOTOS Dog Rescue is a non-profit organization, run by a small group of volunteers dedicated to the rescue and placement of companion dogs from the Oakdale Animal Shelter in Stanislaus County, California and some owner surrenders in surrounding areas of the East Bay. The Oakdale Animal Shelter consists of 12 kennels and is only open 90 minutes a day Monday through Saturday. A-PET accepts animals on a space available basis giving priority to the rescue and care of lost, injured, abandoned and/or stray animals from Edwards Animal Control as well as PCS Surrenders. PCS surrenders are those animals that come from military members who have Deployment or PCS Orders and are unable to continue properly caring for their pet(s) due to the Air Force Mission.615 S.
