Saide AcresWe have an average of 20 to 35 dogs at any point of time, and an average of 5 to 15 cats. We have kennels and large cat house's for the cats,so no body is caged up. That way they have more room to stretch their legs. We try to spend as much one on one time with each of the cats and dogs so they become more social. Pet Rescue Society, Inc.Pet Rescue Society Inc. is a non-profit, no-kill organization that was founded in 1994. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and do not receive government funding, we solely depend on contributions. We work closely with Arlington Animal Services to rescue dogs and cats before they are to be euthanized. We also work with them on injured and abuse cases for both dogs and cats. The majority of our animals are in foster care, where we work closely with our animals to rehabilitate them before rehoming them. Some of our dogs are at the Arlington Animal Services, as stated in their histories. Col. Potter Cairn Rescue Network - SOUTH CENTRALWe are NOT A SHELTER with a single physical location. Instead, we are a NATIONAL network of volunteers working to help re-home Cairns in need. We began as a small internet community of people trying to help one of their members through the heartache of losing a little Cairn named Col. Potter. In the weeks that followed that simple process of showing care and support, a national Cairn terrier rescue was born. It filled a void to serve a wonderful, randomly protected, and sometimes misunderstood breed. Cairns can have every kind of personality, from laid back to intensely lively; most fall somewhere in between. Our rescue attracts caring foster homes who will provide guidance and love; sometimes for the first time in a rescued Cairns life. Our foster homes also provide an honest, realistic evaluation of each Cairns personality, so an approved applicant can expect to be matched with a Cairn whose traits and behaviors fit their lifestyle.
