Twin Tiers RescueTwin Tiers Rescue is a rescue group helping displaced small dogs (mainly Pomeranians and Pekingese) in Pennsylvania, New York and New Jersey find new, loving homes. All dogs receive necessary veterinary care, including vaccinations and spay or neuter. The dogs are kept in volunteer foster homes until they are adopted into a new, permanent home. Foster homes are a vital part of our rescue as some of these dogs have never known love or kindness. Fostering allows them to learn how to trust and live indoors in a family environment. Twisted Oaks Animal RescueTwisted Oaks Animal Rescue, the Exotic Division of the Animal Protection Coalition, is a 501(c)3 not for profit Organization. It is our mission to provide a temporary rest stop for unwanted, abused or neglected animals. Although we try to never turn away an animal in need, our main areas of focus are Guinea Pigs, goats, pigs, llamas, horses, sheep and fowl. We are a private home in Southwestern Michigan, and we provide our own time and resources for shelter, quality food, training and rehabilitation to care for animals in need of a safe haven. We operate soley on donations, and any funds received go towards food, medical needs, bedding, and anything else involved in animal care. Our goal is to end the cycle of abuse and neglect which is all to often found with "livestock". We strive to find PERMANENT placement where these animals will be treated like members of the family, are loved & nurtured for the duration of their lives. Two Left Paws Animal SanctuaryTwo Left Paws Animal Sanctuary is made up of a group of volunteers dedicated to rescuing and placing abandoned and unwanted animals. Twyla's FriendsTwyla's Friends is a non-profit animal adoption organization. We pick up lost and/or abandoned animals, have their medical needs attended to, and look for a caring family to foster these precious dogs until we're able to place them in a permanent home. Before placing an animal up for adoption, Twyla's Friends holds the dog for seven days, calls all area vets, and put up signs to alert an owner that their dog has been found. Tx Ferret Lovers RescueWe take in ALL ferrets regardless of age or condition. We are no kill unless the animal is in a helpless painful condition, otherwise all ferrets receive up to date vaccinations, microchipping, and medical/surgical treatment necessary. We have foster homes of not over 6 or 7 ferrets where those over 5 are placed to live out their lives with our paying all medical needs.
