Safe Haven Dog RescueSafe Haven Dog Rescue is an all breed dog rescue that will show dogs available for adoption by appointment. only, as the rescue does not have a facility,, as the dogs live in foster families homes. The rescue is located outside of Martinsburg, WV, 1/2 hr south of Hagerstown, MD or 1/2 hr north of Winchester, VA, just off of I-81. Safe Haven Dog Rescue takes in neglected, abandoned and "just because they don't want me anymore" dogs and pups and is no -kill.. All rescued dogs are neutered or spayed, current on all shots, tested for lyme and heartworm disease and will have a current 1 year rabies certificate and tag. An adopted dog is wormed and groomed before going to his/her new home.. They all have had some training.
