Rescuecats, Inc.RescueCats, Inc. is a no-kill, nonprofit, licensed by GA Dept of AG, organization whose main focus is educating the public about proper treatment of animals, which includes addressing pet overpopulation issues and the importance of spay and neutering. We provide temporary care for orphaned and owner released kittens and cats. Foster care, including shelter, food/water, love, and necessary medical care is given to each animal until it can be adopted into a suitable home. Cats are spayed or neutered, tested for FeLV/FIV (Feline Leukemia & Feline Aids), dewormed, vaccinated for RCPC (distemper combo)& Rabies(if old enough), Bordetella, treated for fleas, ear mites, and anything else that might be necessary prior to adoption. The animals are spayed or neutered to stop the cycle of overpopulation and to improve the overall health of the cat or kitten. Rescued Friends Inc.Rescued Friends, Inc. is a small non-profit group comprised of volunteers who dedicate themselves to rescuing animals. We are a "no kill" rescue group, operating solely on donations. We do not receive any type of government or institutional funding. Our volunteers foster our rescue animals in their own homes. Our rescue animals are introduced to other animals and then socialized within their foster family. We normally spay/neuter each animal before they are adopted, with a few exceptions. Rescued HeartsRescued Hearts is a new animal rescue group that is serving the southeastern Michigan area. Our primary goal is to help find loving homes for rescued animals. In addition one of our main missions is to develop a spay/neuter program. This effort is too help reduce the number of homeless animals. Another goal is education. We hope to educate the public on general animal care, behavior, etc. We are working on getting our non-profit status. Our paperwork has been filed, and we hope to have our 501-3c soon.
