NW Ohio Siberian Rescue is a nonprofit volunteer organization formed to help save and re-home Siberian Huskies that might otherwise not have a chance. These dogs are often rescued within days of being put down at pounds or overcrowded shelters. Our goals are to place these dogs in loving homes and to educate people about the characteristics and traits of this wonderful breed. The Siberian Husky is not the breed for everyone. Please be sure to read as much as you can about this breed before deciding to adopt. If you have the time and patience for a husky, you will have a friend for life

N.O.A.H. (Northwest Organization for Animal Help) was founded in 1988 and opened its new Animal Adoption Center in May 2003. The goal of N.O.A.H. is stopping the euthanasia of healthy, adoptable animals in Northwest Washington and “Building a Bond for Life between pets and their families. Partnering with overcrowded local animal shelters in Snohomish, Skagit and Whatcom counties, N.O.A.H. takes animals and gives them another chance for adoption.
N.O.A.H. also offers low-cost spay/neuter to low-income pet guardians, dog obedience classes, a gift shop, and established volunteer program. Since opening, over 4,100 dogs and cats have been adopted into new homes and over 11,000 pets have been spayed or neutered. N.O.A.H. is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization supported by tax deductible donations.

The NW SPCA does provide Animal Control for the City of Oroville. It is our goal to keep animals from going to a regular "dog pound" and being destroyed after five days. After the animals time is up, we kick in as the NW SPCA and extend their time as long as we can so we can get them a home.
The contract we have with the city is so we as the NW SPCA can pick up those unwanted strays to give them a longer chance to get a home. We also pickup the lost pets and give them a better chance of getting back to their owners.
