We are a lifetime animal care facility located in a peaceful country atmosphere. We are a family oriented shelter with a purpose to provide a home for animals whose guardians can no longer care for them. Many of our pets come to us through wills or from homes of the sick and elderly.

The Animal Assistance League (AAL) was formed in response to the vast number of animals put to death each year by local shelters, and it adhered to the philosophy that no adoptable animal should be euthanized.

Animal Avengers is a nonprofit animal rescue organization. We help unwanted and homeless animals find loving homes so that they can have a second chance at life. Our organization has no shelter and therefore we strive to get all of our animals into a foster home where they can be with loving families while they wait for their turn to be adopted!

The Animal Awareness Society (TAAS) is dedicated to reducing the number of unwanted and feral cats in the area through spaying and neutering. We go door to door speaking to people and passing out fliers in an attempt to educate the citizens of the Triad about local animal laws, animal care, the benefits of spaying and neutering and the problems that arise from not spaying and neutering.
The main goal of the Society is to greatly reduce the number of unwanted cats, find homes for adoptable cats, and find caretakers for feral colonies after they have been spayed or neutered. TAAS plans to accomplish this goal by targeting heavy cat populated areas and concentrating our education efforts there.

Animal Care & Control of New York City (AC&C) is the only animal care organization in New York City that never turns away animals.
Since 1995 the AC&C has been the organization responsible for New York City's municipal shelter system, rescuing, caring for, and finding loving homes for homeless and abandoned animals in New York City.
