Lafayette Animal AidWe are a no-kill shelter in Lafayette (Carencro), LA that houses at the shelter, on average, 65 dogs and 65 cats. We also provide for more animals living in foster homes. All of our animals are current on shots, and all are spayed/neutered. Cats are tested and vaccinated for Feluk and FIV. Dogs are tested for heartworms and if necessary, treated. We do not discriminate against any animal due to size, age, color, breed, or behavioral problems, unless the animal is too aggressive for our volunteers to handle and poses a threat to other animals and volunteers. Intakes are dependent upon availability of space at the shelter. Adoption fees for both cats and dogs are $80.00.P. O. LaGrange County Animal ShelterThe LaGrange County Animal Shelter is a small facility that serves the rural community of LaGrange County Indiana. The current shelter is very small and insufficent for the needs of the community. The shelter has two employees. We are always desperately seeking volunteers and donations. Please consider us as you decide to volunteer for community service. We are currently looking for volunteers to answer phones during shelter hours so that paid employees are able to work more with the cleaning and caring for animals. We would also like to find able bodies to volunteer on Tuesdays during the flea market season in Shipshewana to pass out volunteer applications, collect donations, and show pictures of adoptable dogs. Laguna Beach Animal ShelterThe City of Laguna Beach Animal Shelter was created in 1975, by a group of dedicated volunteers - The Pet Responsibility Committee - who lobbied the City Council to purchase the former S.P.C.A. building on Laguna Canyon Road. The Shelter serves the residents of Laguna Beach and Laguna Woods by providing temporary care for lost, stray and sick or injured animals rescued by Animal Services Officers within the city limits. At any one time the facility houses dogs, cats, and kittens, and a smaller number of other animals, such as birds, rabbits, chickens, ferrets, reptiles and guinea pigs. Every animal that comes through the Shelter is held for seven days for reclaiming by its owner.
