GREYHOUND CONNECTION INCGreyhound Connection's mission is simply to make a difference - one greyhound at a time. Founded in 2000, GC was formed by several greyhound rescue volunteers who believed a key ingredient was missing in local greyhound programs, and that was FOSTERING. GC believes that an important step in helping a retired greyhound transition from racer to couch potato is a short period of time living in a foster home, where they are introduced to unfamiliar things such as stairs, tile floors, sliding glass doors, children, cats, and more. Equally as important, fostering allows us to learn more about the dogs' individual personalities so that we can make the best match with a new family.
