German Shepherd Rescue of Central AlabamaGerman Shepherd Rescue of Central Alabama is an all volunteer 501(c)3 non-profit rescue organization. We rescue German Shepherds out of shelters and from abusive situations. We take in abandoned and stray dogs, and we take owner surrenders as space allows. All dogs are neutered or spayed, current on shots and have tested negative for heartworms before they are placed in their forever home. These dogs are kept in private homes and will be shown by appointment only. We do our best to help out any German Shepherd dog in need (primarily in the state of Alabama); unfortunately, we have finite space, and it takes time and money to get some of these babies up to good health and full adoption status. We also help people who are having problems with their German Shepherds. German Shepherd Rescue of Central FloridaThis rescue is run by volunteers and could not exist without the dedicated people providing foster homes for the dogs and puppies,the superb veterinarian care provided by Dr. Amy Huff, Animal Clinic of Leesburg, the behaviorial and psychological services of Dr. Terry Marie Curtis, University of Florida, College of Veterinary Medicine, and the Chuang family for providing housing for our overflow dogs at Red Woof Inn. Dogs accepted into this rescue live in a family environment as a pack member whenever possible while awaiting adoption to their forever home. German Shepherd Rescue of Los AngelesGerman Shepherd Rescue is a non-profit, no-kill shelter dedicated to rescuing and finding good homes for purebred German Shepherd Dogs. Our main shelter is located in Burbank, California, and houses about 30 dogs at any given time. All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, and are up-to-date on their shots before placement.
