Cats In Need is an all-volunteer run non-profit cat rescue organization. We operate solely on donations and receive no government funding. We have many chapters located across Southern California. Monetary donations are greatly appreciated. We are always in need of volunteers to help with socializing our cats, cleaning cages, laundry duty and helping with our weekend Adoption Shows. If interested in volunteering, please contact Jodi at (909) 331-5113.

The goal of the Cats International is to help cat owners better understand their pet's nature and behavior and to provide them with information on how to humanely modify the behavior when necessary. Since 1990, Cats International has been providing behavior counselling service to cat owners. What was at first a purely local effort has spread throughout the United States and beyond. Numerous humane societies and veterinary clinics refer clients to our Behavior Hotline. Each year the number of calls received doubles. With cat ownership on the rise, the need for a reliable resource for intelligent and practical solutions for preventing as well as solving difficult behavior and training problems is continually growing.

Our main focus is TNR (Trap, Neuter and Return). Our shelter in Arnold, Maryland is our "TNR" shelter. TNR is a full management plan in which stray and feral cats already living outdoors, in cities, towns and rural areas are humanely trapped, then evaluated, vaccinated, sterilized, and eartipped for identification by veterinarians. We DO NOT take feral cats as we have no facility to house them. We DO NOT take giveaways but can direct you to another organization that might take your cat. Another option we can provide is help in adopting your cat by your (and your cats) attendance at our adoption shows.
